“Come out, Dad, see the flowers.

“They’re so bright and red, you need to see them up close.

“They feel like living paper, strong and soft.

They smell like granny’s old candles, but real.”

He said, “Sure, I can see them from the car.”

  1. Yes the problem with dislocation, where you resist the beauty of nature and are happy to visit from the comfort of the car…..know that notion well. Well expressed.
